Masterpiece Precast is an architectural precast and cast stone manufacturer. The company creates custom exterior stone pieces for construction projects based on architectural drawings, shop drawings, and production details.

Job Summary
We are hiring a hands-on Architectural CAD Drafter to work directly on shop drawings, production drawings, measurements, profiles, and project details for custom precast / cast stone projects.

This is not a general VA, admin, or drafting support role. The candidate must be able to read construction drawings and produce accurate CAD/shop drawing work.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, window shop drawings, steel shop drawings, and project details
• Prepare and revise CAD/shop drawings for precast and cast stone projects
• Identify correct sizes, profiles, joints, measurements, and production details
• Compare drawings and flag missing, conflicting, or unclear information
• Prepare drawing details needed for production and mold preparation
• Organize piece numbers, sizes, quantities, profiles, codes, and production details
• Follow instructions carefully and deliver work in the required format
• Ask clear questions when drawings or details do not match

Requirements

• Must have hands-on experience preparing or modifying CAD/shop drawings
• Must be able to read architectural or construction drawings accurately
• Strong AutoCAD or CAD drafting experience
• Experience with architectural, façade, masonry, millwork, precast, stone, or similar technical building drawings
• Ability to understand measurements, elevations, profiles, sections, and building details
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to compare multiple drawings and catch inconsistencies
• Able to work independently on real drafting tasks, not just assist another drafter
• Reliable, organized, and clear in communication

Nice to Have

• Experience with precast, cast stone, architectural stone, façade, masonry, exterior details, or architectural millwork
• Revit or 3D modeling experience
• Experience with production drawings, CNC, molds, profiles, or fabrication drawings

Work Schedule

• Full-time
• Remote
• Must be available during U.S. business hours

Application Requirement
Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a short test project using sample drawings to evaluate accuracy, technical understanding, and ability to follow instructions.

Best-Fit Candidate
This role is best for a CAD Drafter, Architectural Drafter, Shop Drawing Drafter, or CAD Detailer with hands-on experience producing technical construction drawings.

Not a fit for candidates with only VA, admin, or basic drafting support experience.
